- Account information — email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
- Ad content you submit — text and images you paste or upload to be scanned. This content is sent to Anthropic (our AI provider) to be analyzed against Meta's policy categories.
- Scan history — we store the results of your scans (verdict, flagged issues, and a preview of the content submitted) so you can view your past reports.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves — Stripe handles this securely.
- Usage data — timestamps of scan activity, used to enforce free-tier and subscription usage limits.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the scanning service and maintain your scan history.
- To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To enforce usage limits associated with your plan.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your submitted ad content to train AI models.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PolicyPass:
- Supabase (database and authentication) — stores your account details, scan history, and subscription status.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes the ad copy and images you submit to generate a policy compliance analysis.
- Stripe (payments) — processes subscription payments and manages billing. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and scan history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account and scan history remain accessible unless you request deletion.

Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
